Morcos meets with Azoulay, appreciates UNESCO’s support for Lebanese media law, calls for additional support to NNA, Radio Lebanon

Information Minister Paul Morcos met with UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay, thanking her for UNESCO’s support in drafting a new media law in Lebanon, which he is keen on issuing to protect media freedom and media professionals in line with international standards.

Morcos also expressed appreciation for UNESCO’s support to “Télé Liban” and public media outlets.

Additionally, he called for necessary support to the National News Agency and Radio Lebanon in the next phase.
