Information Minister, Paul Morcos, on Friday toured the Radio Lebanon building with a delegation from the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), as part of a rehabilitation plan to upgrade studios and modernize the facility’s main entrance in the coming weeks.
Speaking to university students, Morcos said reform of state media began with the appointment of a new management at Télé Liban for the first time since 1999. He added that the National News Agency has also undergone logistical and technological upgrades.
Marking World Radio Day, he stressed that radio remains influential despite digital advances, highlighting the importance of ethical AI use and the pending media law to restore public trust.
