Lebanese Ministry of Information
Caretaker Minister of Information, Ziad Makary, met at his ministry office with the Secretary General of the Islamic Radio and Television Union (IRTVU), Sheikh Ali Karimian, heading a delegation.
“We welcomed our brothers, who briefed us on the activities they are carrying out in many Islamic and non-Islamic countries,” said Makary following the talks.
“We agreed to hold successive meetings to follow up on those activities and on the Union’s work; this is an important step in order to be informed of the evolution of media in some regions of the world and to shed light on the injustice against many peoples whose voice is still unheard,” he added.
