Lebanese Ministry of Information
Caretaker Minister of Information, Dr. Manal Abdel-Samad Najd, cabled this morning her Jordanian countepart, Sakher Marwan Dudin, in wake of the coup attempt in Jordan earlier this week, confirming Lebanon’s support.
In turn, Dudin thanked Abdel-Samad and the Lebanese for supporting his country, stressing that Jordan will always be a bulwark against the conspirators and perpetrators who want to destabilize the country and its security.
Additionally, the Minister phonecalled Jordanian Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Abdul Rahman Jaffal al-Hadid, underscoring the “importance of the historical fraternal relations between the two countries,” wishing Jordan “peace and stability.”
