Lebanese Ministry of Information
The press office of Minister of Information, Manal Abdel Samad, issued Thursday the following statement:
“After taking note of the events that took place yesterday in Hamra street and which involved France 24 correspondents and the security forces, it had turned out that the said media means did not obtain the needed licensure granted by the Ministry of Information as stated by the law.”
It added: “Following contacts, France 24 press team with duly submit the required documents.”
