Caretaker Information Minister, Dr. Manal Abdel Samad Najd, contacted Saturday Indian Ambassador to Lebanon, Dr. Suhel Ajaz Khan, to show solidarity with his country in wake of the major Corona outbreak it is currently facing, setting record numbers in infections and deaths.
Abdel Samad expressed her heartfelt condolences over the fallen victims, while wishing the infected a speedy recovery.
The Caretaker Minister stressed the importance of global cooperation, combined efforts, international solidarity and humanitarian aid to combat this transcontinental pandemic, limit its spread and prevent it while raising community and educational awareness towards its implications.
