Caretaker Minister of Information, Ziad Makary, on Wednesday received in his office at the Ministry, Lawyer Hani Suleiman, who briefed him on the preparations underway for the sea trip to Naqoura, to underline Lebanon’s adherence to its national rights and wealth.
Lawyer Suleiman explained that the trip “will start from Tripoli, passing through all Lebanese ports, far-reaching to Naqoura,” pointing out that several meetings were held at the municipalities of Sidon and Tyre, with several other meetings to be held with Beirut and Tripoli dignitaries.
Suleiman added that the trip is expected to include around 100 boats carrying the Lebanese flag, chanting the national anthem, and voicing adherence to Lebanon’s national rights and constants.
On the purpose of the trip, Suleiman said the trip aims to declare the Lebanese community’s adherence to its national wealth.
He called on all the Lebanese to be many at 2.00 pm on Sunday, August 28, in the town of Naqoura.
