Caretaker Defense Minister Meets Armed Forces Retirees Association Delegation, Broaches General Situation With Al-Makary

Caretaker National Defense Minister, Maurice Sleem, on Tuesday received in his office, the new body of the Armed Forces Retirees Association, headed by retired Major General Nicolas Mezher.

Caretaker Minister Sleem stressed that he devotes all the necessary attention to the affairs of the retired military personnel at the financial, health and social levels, calling on them to be united in their demand for their rights, especially in light of the exceptional circumstances that the country is going through.

On the other hand, Sleem discussed with Caretaker Minister of Information Ziad Al-Makary, the current general situation in the country and the fresh developments on the local arena.

Separately, Minister Sleem received respectively MP Elias Estefan, and former MP Ammar Moussawi, over the current general situation.
