Lebanese Ministry of Information
Caretaker Information Minister, Ziad al-Makary, on Tuesday welcomed in his office at the Ministry, the United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) Beirut Director Margo Helou, in presence of the Minister’s Francophone Affairs Advisor, Elissar Naddaf.
Discussions reportedly touched on the bilateral cooperation between the Ministry of Information and the Centre in terms of capacity-building and media campaigns in line with the main goals of the United Nations.
Minister al-Makary expressed “the Ministry’s readiness to fully cooperate with the Centre, notably in terms of developing skills, techniques and training courses.”
They also dwelt on continuing cooperation at the level of “Telel Liban” and “Radio Lebanon” programs.
