Lebanese Ministry of Information
Information Minister, Ziad al-Makary, on Thursday welcomed in his office at the Ministry, “The New York Times” Beirut Bureau Chief, accompanied by the newspaper’s correspondent in Lebanon, Howaida Asaad, in presence of the Head of the Ministry’s Foreign Correspondents Press Room, Marwan Shoukri.
Discussions reportedly touched on general media issues, especially with regard to foreign correspondents, with emphasis on facilitating their affairs..
