Lebanese Ministry of Information
Caretaker Minister of Information, Engineer Ziad Makary, honored, in his office at the ministry, the renowned artists: Samir Shamas, Wafaa Tarabey, and Alvera Younis, whereby he presented them with honorary shields in recognition and appreciation of their contributions in the artistic domain.
In his word, Minister Makary said: “It is the least duty undertaken by the government, the state, and the Ministry of Information, to honor, even morally, these artists who are part of our memory, our childhood, and the Lebanese artistic, cinematic, and television heritage.”
