Al-Makary: Beirut Is A Breeze That Revives Arab Art, And Its Press Is Free With No Restrictions Except The Profession’s Ethics

Caretaker Minister of Information, Ziad Al-Makary, wrote on the “X” platform: “We regret the controversy surrounding the concert of artist Amr Diab in Beirut. After contacting the organizing side, it was clarified that the pledge was directed to journalists solely wishing to cover the ‘behind the scenes’ at the back stage…We are certain that the great artist Amr Diab is proud of Beirut, present and future history, and we thank him for his concert that has illuminated the capital’s night…We affirm that Beirut is a breeze that revives Arab art, and its press is free, with no restrictions placed on it except those imposed by the ethics of the profession.”
