Lebanon’s Berri: Parliament is Performing Its Role to the Utmost

House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Tuesday stressed in his entry during the legislative session held at the UNESCO Palace that the Parliament is carrying out its role and is more active at the legislative and supervisory levels regardless of all claims.

“The Parliament is performing its duties and more… Everyone knows when this session was scheduled to take place and how it was disrupted and that the Parliament bureau body has put all projects and proposals on its agenda. Unfortunately, there are some colleagues who believe the circulated claims about the role of the Parliament,” Speaker Berri said In response to those who are accusing the parliament of negligence and failure to carry out its role.
