Rafic Hariri Hospital: 5 Infected Cases From One Family, 3 Recoveries

The Rafic Hariri University Hospital announced Sunday, in its daily report on the developments of the corona epidemic, that out of 227 laboratory tests performed, 5 new infections with the Covid-19 virus belonging to the same family have been registered while the remaining tests came out negative.

The report added that the total number of laboratory-confirmed infected cases with the Coronavirus that are currently present in the hospital’s health isolation unit have reached 26 cases.

It also indicated that 3 cases have recovered from the virus after their PCR examination results came out negative in both times, thus bringing the total number of recoveries to-date to 102.

“All those infected with the coronavirus are receiving the necessary care in the isolation unit and are in stable condition, with the exception of one patient in critical condition,” the report said.

In conclusion, the Hariri Hospital indicated that more information on the number of infected cases on all Lebanese territories can be found in the daily report issued by the Ministry of Public Health.
