Ministry Of Information Places E-Mail At Disposal Of Citizens With Questions And Concerns Over Coronavirus Vaccine

The Ministry of Information has placed its e-mail info@ministryinfo.gov.lb at the disposal of citizens, for them to send their questions as part of its endeavor, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, the World Health Organization and the UNICEF, to scientifically answer a preliminary list of questions/concerns about the coronavirus vaccine.

The Ministry of Information had previously prepared a preliminary list of questions – the most frequent concerns, and the final list will be part of a forthcoming awareness-raising campaign about the coronavirus vaccine. The following is the preliminary list of questions:

How do I know the vaccine is safe?

To whom will the first doses of the vaccine be given in Lebanon?

Will there be fair distribution?

Does the effectiveness of the vaccine differ according to its price and source?

Is the vaccine safe despite the expedited procedures that did not allow laboratory experiments sufficient time?

Will the vaccine make me sick / will my body show allergic reactions to the vaccine?

Are there any side effects of the vaccine?

Does the vaccine affect genetic cells?

Are there possible short-term or long-term negative impacts for the vaccine on my health?

Do I have to undergo certain tests before getting vaccinated?

Can I get the vaccine if I have already contracted coronavirus?

Is the vaccine a one-time occurrence or should it be repeated?

What age groups are be given the vaccine?

Can I receive the vaccine if I move to a country where vaccination has started?

When will the pandemic be defeated?
