Abdel Samad: We Will Work On Making Wage Increase Among Government’s Priorities

Minister of Information, Manal Abdel Samad, said Wednesday that there will be endeavors to make the increase of wages a priority for the government, once the USD to LBP exchange rate is officially fixed.

Her remarks came during a meeting with a delegation of Syndicate of Lebanese Press Design Syndicate, chaired by Ali Kamal Eddine.

The visiting delegation also extended an invitation to the Minister to sponsor a ceremony the Syndicate is holding to honor Head of the Editors’ Syndicate Joseph Kossaifi; the event is scheduled to take place on forthcoming October 24, at UNESCO Palace.
